This warm, sunny, light-dappled house is an all year-round weekend home, not a typical rental property. The design of this six-bedroom and five-bath home falls somewhere between open barn and cozy English cottage. The property is secluded, you can’t see it from the road, allowing maximum privacy. The front door opens to a large living area for entertaining, with L-shaped cream sectional, gas fireplace and bookshelves, flowing into an open dining area with easy seating for 10, and large gourmet kitchen, perfect for group cooking with a six burner Thermador oven and two dishwashers.
The open sunny den off the kitchen with large RH cream sofa is perfect for curling up with a book or working from a laptop. Off the main living room, is the TV room also with a fireplace, equipped with a huge leather RH Chesterfield perfect for family/group movie viewing. The house has Sonos speakers.
There are two bedrooms per floor for a total of six bedrooms, four with en suite bathrooms, allowing maximum privacy for a group of adults or two or three families. The first floor has a master suite with direct access to the pool, a TV and fireplace, and behind the kitchen there is a queen bedroom with bathroom. The upstairs floor has two king bedrooms both with charming eaves and en-suite bathrooms. The large downstairs has one queen and one twin bedroom with two brass beds and a shared bathroom. It also has a large TV, table tennis and with a separate entrance, is a perfect play space for children/teenagers.
The two acre property includes a lovely gunite pool, outside shower, plenty of patio and seating area, a gas barbecue, and adorable pool house, with bathroom and fridge, and sleeping platform, ideal for kids/teenagers looking for independence. There is a large garden for lawn games and fire pit for s’mores.
The property is perfectly situated in the heart of the Hamptons, and a short drive to Sag Harbor with its bay beaches. Sagg Main ocean beach is an eight minute drive and the gateway to miles of gorgeous pale sand.
The Montauk train runs along the bottom of the garden so you hear the nostalgic sound of the horn and feel the rumble of the train as it heads out to the eastern tip of the Island.

$400/cleaning fee per stay of up to one week, with an additional $400 cleaning fee for each subsequent week. Additional cleaning available at the same rate as frequently as requested.
